Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist, New York, NY

Jennie Sharf, Ph.D. I am a clinical psychologist in private practice. I also work as a supervising psychologist at the Pace University Counseling Center.

In addition to helping you with your immediate problems, our work together will focus on facilitating positive change. I will help you develop a better understanding of yourself, with the goal of making lasting emotional and behavioral change.

I am trained in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which focuses on helping clients regulate emotions, tolerate distress, develop mindfulness skills, and enjoy more effective interpersonal relationships. I also specialize in helping people who have dropped out of previous therapy.

I am committed to working in a muticultural and LGBTQ affirming therapy environment.
